New Eepos jib crane delivers lightweight precision

Columbus McKinnon has expanded  its light crane product portfolio with the optimized aluminium Eepos Jib Crane. Key product enhancements include extended reach and exceptionally smooth handling due to the new aluminium boom

The optimized Eepos jib crane is designed to further enhance efficiency and ergonomics in logistics and manufacturing processes. The boom, made of high-quality aluminium, ensures minimal weight with maximum stability. The benefits for the operator are: easy crane handling and smooth load movement, which reduce the effort required during daily operation.

Despite its lightweight construction, this jib crane has upto a 500kg load capacity with a maximum boom length of 8m and up to 1000kg load capacity with a compact boom length of 4m. Custom lengths are also available to meet the exact needs of the customer’s application.

The optimized jib crane reflects the close and synergistic collaboration between two brands – Eepos and Erikkila – leveraging years of combined expertise in the lifting industry.

“We see enormous potential in this optimized jib crane,” said Bastian Schönfeld, senior managing director of the Light Crane & Workstation platform at Columbus McKinnon. “This is the first joint development collaboration between Eepos and Erikkila, and it went exceptionally well, demonstrating just how much innovative power lies in combining our expertise.

The optimized jib crane will be sold under two brand names. Models with the aluminium boom and lifting capacities up to 1000kg will be sold worldwide under the Eepos brand. Models with a steel boom and lifting capacities up to 1500 kg will be offered worldwide through the Erikkila brand.

The Eepos jib crane is available to order now, with deliveries starting in early July 2026.
