New JLG Rapid Replaceable Platform made standard on selected booms

JLG Industries has rolled out its Rapid Replaceable Platform, a new standard feature on select JLG boom lift models in North America. The new Rapid Replaceable Platform allows for quick and efficient servicing of boom lift platforms in the field with minimal interruption, helping customers increase uptime.

The design enables damaged platforms to be removed and installed in a fraction of the time compared to traditional methods, keeping machines on the job and reducing costly downtime.

A centre storage tray and self-closing gates are now standard;  tool clip locations are standard on both sides of the console box (22-lb capacity) and the manual storage box has been relocated for added protection. There is a dual USB-A and USB-C charger included as standard and LED light installed beneath the console box for platform illumination. There is no reduction in platform capacity, maintaining the model’s rated capacity and full compatibility with approved JLG accessories

Beginning in May 2025, the Rapid Replaceable Platform will phase into production across all platform sizes for applicable models. Machines built with the Rapid Replaceable Platform are not compatible with traditional platforms. When platform replacement is required, customers can visit Online Express to select the appropriate Rapid Replaceable Platform for their model.

The  Toucan, Tow-Pro and Compact Crawler Boom Lifts will continue to be produced with the existing traditional platform at this time.
