Proficiency testing to feature at LiftEx 2026

Attendees at this year’s LiftEx will see a new feature this year: Proficiency Testing. Held 24–25 November 2026 at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool and hosted by the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA LiftEx is the flagship annual global exhibition for the lifting equipment industry.

Designed to bring inspection knowledge to life, Proficiency Testing gives lifting professionals the opportunity to demonstrate how they approach a real-world inspection, from identifying faults to making and justifying decisions.

Across the two days, visitors will be able to put their inspection skills to the test in LEEA’s Day 1 Inspection Challenge, where participants will be asked to identify real faults across a range of lifting equipment. On Day 2 visitors can explore practical inspection techniques through the Inspection Insights Sessions. Throughout the show visitors can discover Proficiency Testing at the LEEA stand and learn how it differs from traditional knowledge-based assessment.
