Link-Belt Reveals New Angle Boom at Cranefest

Along with their crane introductions at CraneFest '06, Link-Belt, Lexington, Ky., also unveiled a new angle boom for the 218 HSL crawler crane. The new angle boom can be used in oil field service, clamshell, pile driving, or any sort of rough application where job site and transportation conditions are less than ideal for a tube boom. Available from 45 to 155 feet, the boom has 4” x 4” x 5” chords and uses the same boom extensions as the 308 HYLAB 5.
