Kito Crosby launches 2025 Lifting for the Troops Campaign
Kito Crosby, a leading manufacturer of lifting and securement solutions, has announced its Lifting for the Troops campaign in America for 2025, supporting the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. Fallen Patriots provides college scholarships and educational counselling to military children in the USA who have lost a parent in the line of duty. After government programs, the average shortfall in college funding for a student to earn a four-year degree is $25,000. With the support of its loyal channel partners and customers across the country, Kito Crosby aims to raise $75,000 this autumn to help bridge that gap.
From September 1 to October 31, 2025, Kito Crosby will donate $500 for every US-based training event it hosts under the Crosby, Harrington, Gunnebo Industries, and Peerless brands. Additionally, 100% of proceeds from the popular Crosby User’s Guide for Lifting online course will go directly to Fallen Patriots during the campaign dates.
Kito Crosby invites all of its valued channel partners, end-user companies, industry training organizations, and affiliated industry companies to become a campaign sponsor by making a minimum donation of $500 to the Fallen Patriots.
Private donations are also encouraged and go toward the goal. Anyone can get involved, including team members, end users, friends, and family. Individual donors who give $100 or more will receive a free patriotic hat featuring either the Crosby, Harrington, or Peerless logo.
Over the past 35 years, more than 25,000 military children have lost an active-duty parent. Of those fallen, 96% were men, often leaving single mothers to raise their families. A staggering 60% of these families report financial struggles, and an estimated $625 million is still needed nationally to close the education funding gap. Since its founding in 2002, Fallen Patriots has awarded nearly $78 million in scholarships, supporting over 3800 students, including more than 2200 graduates.
Kito Crosby has trained more than 600,000 professionals across a range of critical industries since 1991. Now, every in-person or online training session this fall will also contribute to a cause that secures futures and honours legacies.
With US manufacturing facilities and offices in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Alabama, Minnesota, Illinois, California, and Oregon, Kito Crosby’s commitment to the military dates back decades, supplying lifting hardware for mission-critical defense equipment. Today, more than 50 US Veterans work across the company, continuing that legacy through innovation, craftsmanship, and service.
“Kito Crosby has proudly supported the US military for decades-from battlefield recovery and defence equipment manufacturing to critical logistics operations,” said Robert Desel, CEO of Kito Crosby. “Our partnership with Children of Fallen Patriots extends this legacy. Through our Lifting for the Troops campaign, we unite with channel partners, end users, and team members to raise funds and awareness for families who have made the ultimate sacrifice. I’m proud that Kito Crosby and our entire industry remain committed to honouring our fallen heroes and advancing this vital mission.”
Over the past six years, the annual Lifting for the Troops campaign has raised nearly $300,000 for Fallen Patriots.
