Jekko has confirmed its collaboration with the Center Construction Robotics (CCR), a leading research hub within the Construction Cluster at RWTH Aachen Campus. Starting with the joint MAXX project, this renewed commitment highlights Jekko’s dedication to innovation and its ongoing contribution to advancing digitalization and automation in the construction industry.
At the Open-Campus-Week event held on 26–27 August 2025, with European research partners from academia, industry, associations, and politics, Center Construction Robotics celebrated its achievements and outlined the upcoming initiatives.
The event also marked the celebration of the Bauma Innovation Award 2025 in the Research category, awarded to MAXX – Mobile Assembly X-System. This pioneering project, presented at Bauma 2025 on the Jekko stand, was developed by CCR in collaboration with the German Government and industry partners including Jekko, KUKA, and Fundermax.
By confirming its role as a research partner, Jekko will continue to work alongside CCR and its network to tackle critical industry challenges such as material reuse, digitalization, and automation, while developing sustainable and future-oriented solutions for the construction sector.
“We are proud to extend our partnership with CCR and to keep contributing to innovative projects that shape the construction industry of tomorrow,” said Diego Tomasella, Jekko’s CEO. This ongoing collaboration strengthens Jekko’s position as a forward-looking company, committed to research, innovation, and sustainable growth in the global construction equipment market.
