Bronto Skylift strengthens service capabilities in USA

A new service centre near Dallas, Texas, marks a significant milestone in the Bronto Skylift’’s commitment to providing exceptional service and support in USA.

“This strategic move significantly improves our service capabilities here in the US. The goal is to bring the factory level capabilities closer to the customer.” says Matias Takala, service manager US.

Takala has 14 years of experience in the industry. Having worked in rental and blade repair companies in several positions from operator to fleet and operations management, he knows the importance of great service support.

Juha Pietilä, senior manager, Global Service of Bronto Skylift said, “We are thrilled to have Matias at the helm of our local service operations. His extensive experience of the industry and customer’s needs is a great addition to our global service team.”.

Operations in the new location will begin before the end of 2025 and the operations from current location in Orlando, FL, will be transferred to Rhome in the beginning of 2026. In addition to local mounting and maintenance operations, Texas Service Center offers full variety of life-cycle services such as training, product support, rebuilds and upgrades.

Matia said, “The aim is to provide the best service and product support to maximize the uptime for our customers. Having a larger local spare part stock allows us to get most common spares with next day delivery basically anywhere in the US.”

Recruitment to strengthen the team are under way and first service works are just about to start. The first machine to undergo a midlife refurbishment will be a well-served S150XDT from Excel High Reach’s rental fleet and the next jobs are already in pipeline.

Lynn Ladenes, the CEO of Excel High Reach said, “The new facility with its expanded support and services is an essential addition to Bronto’s commitment to the North American market. Having factory-level support closer to our operations strengthens our position as the leader in ultra-high reach AWP industry by maximizing rental fleet reliability and uptime performance. Ultimately, our customers are the true beneficiaries.”
