Boels Verhuur BV expands rental fleet with major order from JLG
JLG Industries has received a significant order for 3000 platforms from Boels Verhuur BV, one of Europe’s largest rental companies.
The investment includes machines from the extensive JLG portfolio, such as electric and diesel scissor lifts, straight and articulated booms, compact crawler booms, vertical mast lifts and low-level access equipment. The arrival of the new JLG models will support Boels’ plans to expand and modernize its rental fleet and provide its European customers with access to the highest levels of safety, performance and efficiency.
This latest order reinforces the success of the long-term strategic partnership between Boels and JLG. The strength of the relationship between the two companies is based on aligned business growth ambitions, and a shared commitment to sustainability and innovation.
Ian Hume, general manager of European Sales Operations, said, “We have worked closely together for decades to anticipate customer needs and develop solutions that match evolving market expectations. The latest generation of energy-efficient platforms, for example, highlight how we are both dedicated to lowering the environmental impact of our customers’ sites and projects.”
Boels cited its confidence in product quality, and the service and support it receives from JLG, as the main reasons behind its investment decision. “We appreciate the reliability and life-cycle value of the JLG product range, as well as the comprehensive Europe-wide after-sales support,” says Michel Boels, director of Fleet Procurement.
Delivery of the new JLG platforms will start in the first quarter of 2026 and continue throughout the year to meet the rising demand from the construction, industrial, and maintenance sectors across key European markets. “We are delighted to support Boels with this latest order and enhance the availability of high-quality products for Europe’s growing access market,” says Ian.
