Skyjack shows new lifts at Vertikal Days 2026
Skyjack is exhibiting its new booms, scissors and low-level access lifts at the Vertikal Days 2026 trade show at the Newark Showground in Nottinghamshire, UK, on 9 and 10 September. Skyjack’s irange of access equipment has been designed for rental and to help customers maximise utilisation on diverse indoor and outdoor jobsites.
“Vertikal Days 2026 is a fantastic opportunity for us to engage with customers and to show exactly how our popular lifts can benefit rental companies and operators,” said Andreas Stumpf, Skyjack’s vice president of Sales and Operations, EMEA. “Skyjack’s new machine designs have been driven by customer feedback and demand, and engineered with proven technology, reliability, and ease of service. We are eager to connect with visitors at our stand and show-off the exceptional capabilities of our popular lifts.”
The new compact, zero emission, low noise SJ45 AJN battery-powered electric slab boom features a platform capacity of 227kg (500 lbs), a 1.42m (4ft 8in) jib as standard, a narrow width of 1.5m (4ft 11in), and an up-and-over access capability of 7.8m (25ft 7in). This new slab boom offers high levels of onsite manoeuvrability and precision to work in confined spaces.
The SJ60 AJHE+ represents Skyjack’s new hybrid-electric and battery-electric rough terrain articulating booms that have been developed to maintain specification, features and performance. The Skyjack range has common specifications, parts, capacities, reach and dimensions across all-electric, hybrid-electric, and diesel options, allowing rental companies to choose preferred power within a single machine.
The recently launched SJ3232 E electric drive scissor lift is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and features a narrow width, machine length of 2.33m (91.6in), 249kg (550lb) capacity and machine weight of 2654kg (5850lb). No stabilizers also mean the SJ3232 E is drivable at full height (working height is 11.6m or 38ft). These machines are designed to provide a clean, quiet, sustainable rental solution with zero emissions, low operating costs and increased utilisation.
The new SJ5545 E electric drive scissor lift represents the highest working height scissor in Skyjack’s range of slab scissors and includes innovative design features and high platform capacities. With a working height of 15.72m (51ft 6in) and a load capacity of 350kg (770lb), this E-Drive model has very responsive control and manoeuvrability. The scissor stack design of the SJ5545 E features fully welded cross-bracing that increases rigidity and improves operator comfort at height. This scissor is drivable at full height, offers a two-person wind-rating at 6.7m (22ft), and provides a large working areas with a robust, all-steel, anti-slip platform. The modular rail system easily folds down to reduce stowed height for transportation and to pass through standard doorways. Low machine weight and non-marking tyres optimise jobsite utilisation, while an onboard digital diagnostic display allows operators to see real-time, simple language readouts.
The all-new SJ6940 RT rough terrain scissor lift has a working height of 14.19m (46ft 6in) and a platform capacity of 363kg (800lb), setting a new benchmark as the tallest machine in Skyjack’s compact RT scissor class. Engineered with productivity and jobsite versatility in mind, the SJ6940 RT delivers a long working area with a main platform at 3.38m (11ft 1in) in length. An oscillating front steer axle tackles tough jobsite terrain and auto-levelling outriggers (optional on ANSI/CSA models, standard on CE/AS models) maximize usability. An intelligent drive system switches between different torque modes based on machine grade and engine RPM for optimal jobsite performance. A self-centring scissor stack, a single lift cylinder, and optional turf tyres round out the technologies offered on these rough terrain scissors.
The popularity of Skyjack’s low level machines continues to climb as more organizations are reaching for quiet, compact and manoeuvrable low-level access equipment. Skyjack’s all-electric Vertical Masts and the SJ3219 micro scissor lift will be on display at Vertikal Days, representing the range of zero emission, compact, low-level access products that combine durability, quality, and serviceability. These lifts carry Skyjack’s ECO mark, which highlights a commitment to delivering environmental performance and long-term sustainability. Improved productivity, simply reliable technology, reduced cost of ownership and Skyjack’s renowned product support give the rental industry more for less in the low-level access space.
