Skyjack’s LanyardGo wins Best New Product Award at HIRE26

Skyjack’s new LanyardGo safety device has won the 2026 Best New Product Award in the Access Equipment Category at the Hire Industry Excellence Awards at HIRE26 in Sydney, Australia. LanyardGo is one of the latest products in Skyjack’s Accessoryzers line and is compatible with Skyjack’s articulating and telescopic boom lifts. LanyardGo is available as a factory installation or as an aftermarket offering for rental and hire companies and contractors across Australia, Europe, and North America.

Skyjack introduced LanyardGo to detect when a boom operator has attached their harness lanyard to the lanyard attachment point on the platform. A proximity sensor detects whether or not the lanyard is attached, while coloured LED lights and audible alarm indicate whether machine operation is good to ‘go’ or not. The LanyardGo anchor point inhibits machine operation until the operator attaches their lanyard to the LanyardGo device. Once clipped to the lanyard attachment point, machine functionality returns.

Skyjack’s Accessoryzers are engineered to help customers maximize utilization and add safety and functionality on a wide-range of jobsites.

The Best New Product Award at the Hire Industry Excellence Awards recognized innovation, design, and quality in equipment and services within the hire and rental industry. Judged by the HRIA board of directors, a panel of expert judges, as well as voted on by HRIA members visiting HIRE26, the Best New Product is determined by how useful the equipment or service will be for hire and rental companies.

This award recognizes true hire and rental industry excellence and innovation and looks at new offerings for the industry with regards to modernizing and enhancing technology to grow and drive the industry into the future.

“Skyjack takes pride in providing machine features and accessories that meet true jobsite performance expectations for a wide range of indoor and outdoor construction, maintenance, and industrial applications. With LanyardGo, Skyjack continues to show its commitment to creating equipment that contributes to safe workplaces,” said Jason Cranmer, Skyjack’s regional sales and operations director. “Thank you to the Hire and Rental Industry Association for recognizing Skyjack’s innovative new product.”
