Jekko and Nordkran celebrate 10 years of partnership
In 2025 Jekko and NordKran celebrate 10 years of partnership, marking a decade of collaboration and commitment to bringing cutting-edge lifting solutions to the German market. As a tribute to this journey, NordKran welcomed a new special custom red anniversary SPX532.2.
“The birth of NordKran GmbH is dated 2015, even if the start of the collaboration with Jekko is dated two years before with my first sale of SPX1040 minicrane to its father company, Buchtmann GmbH, directed by Willi Buchtmann” said Alberto Franceschini, Jekko sales director.
“What began as a single machine delivery has grown into one of the most successful and influential collaborations in Jekko’s international network.”
Under the leadership of Maik Buchtmann and Carsten Bielefeld, current CEO of Jekko Deutschland, NordKran rapidly became responsible for Jekko sales across the entire German market. The partnership evolved once again in 2020, when the Jekko subsidiary Jekko Deutschland was officially established to directly serve the German market. From that moment on, NordKran sharpened its efforts on the northern German region, where it continues to represent Jekko with passion, competence, and a deep understanding of customer needs.
During these 10 years of partnership, NordKran has successfully delivered well over 100 Jekko minicranes to key customers active in glass handling, steel construction, tunnel construction, plant construction and industrial maintenance, contributing decisively to the brand’s reputation for quality and innovation throughout the country.
Today, under the leadership of Maik Buchtmann, NordKran offers the full Jekko range – from SPX minicranes to JF crawler cranes and MPK minipickers – alongside telehandlers and vacuum-glass handling solutions. From its Delmenhorst–Bremen headquarters, dedicated teams manage new and used sales, as well as machinery rental. A wide technical network widely spread over the country offers fast and comprehensive aftersales assistance to customers.
“Being part of this journey for ten years is something I value deeply,” said Maik Buchtmann. “I’m proud of everything we have achieved in Germany and excited for many more successful years together.”
Carsten Bielefeld, CEO of Jekko Deutschland, adds, “At Jekko, we share this sentiment. The partnership with NordKran has been essential to building a strong market presence in Germany – one of the most important regions for our global growth.”
