Link-Belt Partners with Hitachi on U.S. Telescopic Crawler

Link-Belt Construction Equipment, Lexington, Ky., has partnered with sister company, Hitachi Sumitomo Construction Crane Co., to introduce the 45-ton TCC-450 telescopic crawler crane to the North American market.

Merging the capabilities of a rough-terrain crane with the mobility and stability of a crawler crane, the TCC-450 is the North American derivative of Hitachi Sumitomo's telescopic crawler crane model that was introduced earlier in 2005.

Introduction of this unit in North America is a response to Link-Belt's customer requests, and modifying the machine for the North American market is a result of input from both customers and distributors.

Link-Belt will showcase the TCC-450 later this fall at its Cranefest customer event in Lexington, Ky.
